Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Despite the current difficult situation in connection with the pandemic, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine not only does not stop the production process, but, on the contrary, is increasing its export potential every day.
In particular, during the period from January to August, 60,215 tons of cathode copper were supplied to China and Turkey, the plan was fulfilled by 115.2%.
2828 tons of copper pipes were exported to Turkey, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, the plan was fulfilled by 135.3%.
The plan for the export of sulfuric acid, which is widely used in the chemical industry, was fulfilled by 110.9%. In particular, 27,716 tons of sulfuric acid were exported to Kazakhstani partners over the past period.
Good results have also been achieved in the export of copper sulfate, which is widely used in agriculture. 5399 tons of copper sulfate were supplied to Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, the plan was fulfilled by 153.8%.
The plan for the export of molybdenum, used for alloying steels as a component of heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloys, was fulfilled by 107.4%. The main importer of this metal is the Netherlands, where 430 tons of molybdenum were delivered from January to August.
From year to year, the specialists of the plant carry out various studies to extract rare and precious metals, introduce advanced technologies. It should be noted that for 8 months of this year, the plan for the export of rhenium was fulfilled by 493.3%, tellurium - by 176.7%, selenium - by 320%.
