Aggregate capital of Uzbek banks increases by 17.1% in Jan-Sep
Aggregate capital of commercial banks of Uzbekistan increased by 17.1% up to 1.76 trillion soums in January-September 2008, Prime Tass reported quoting press-service of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
Aggregate assets of commercial banks of Uzbekistan rose by 27.2% up to 11.798 trillion soums in the reporting period, credit portfolio grew by 28.3% up to 6.035 trillion soums.
Currently, the banking system of Uzbekistan is represented by 30 commercial banks, including three state banks, five banks with foreign capital, ten joint-stock and twelve private banks.
