Aeroflot aircraft makes emergency landing in Tashkent due to passenger’s health issues
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Russian Aeroflot flight SU1971, traveling from Ferghana to Moscow, made an emergency landing at Tashkent airport due to the poor health of one of the passengers.
According to Uzbekistan Airports, the crew decided to make an emergency landing at an alternate airport.
The Boeing 737 landed in Tashkent at 22:11 local time. A woman, born in 1954, and her luggage were removed from the plane, and she was hospitalized with suspected stroke in one of the city’s medical facilities.
At 23:02 Tashkent time, the aircraft resumed its journey to Moscow.
