AerCap Signs Lease Agreements for Two A321neo Aircraft with Uzbekistan’s My Freighter
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — AerCap Holdings N.V. has announced the signing of lease agreements for two new Airbus A321neo aircraft with Uzbekistan-based airline My Freighter, which also operates passenger services under the Centrum Air brand. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in Q4 2027.
Peter Anderson, Chief Commercial Officer of AerCap, highlighted the importance of the partnership: “We are pleased to welcome My Freighter as AerCap’s first customer in Uzbekistan and to support the local aviation industry. The highly fuel-efficient, long-range A321neo will enable My Freighter and the passenger airline Centrum Air to expand into new markets.”
Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Chairman of the Board of Centrum Holding, stated: “Introducing the Airbus A321neo into our fleet will strengthen our operational capabilities and support the expansion of our international route network, including the upcoming launch of flights to Europe. The aircraft’s enhanced efficiency will ensure greater passenger comfort and improve Uzbekistan’s air connectivity with key global markets.”
