Advisor of Japanese Embassy holds talks at Emergency Ministry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Advisor of the Embassy of Japan in Tashkent Satoru Takahashi on 24 July 2015.

The meeting was aimed at discussing participation of representatives of the ministry in the work of the Third World Conference of the UN for Disaster Risk Reduction (March 2015 in Sendai, Japan) and Sendai framework for Disaster Risk Reduction for 2015-2030.

The programme is continuation of earlier realized Hyogo framework for Disaster Risk Reduction for 2005-2015, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.

At the meeting, the sides considered possible directions of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of disaster risk reduction.
