Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 12 March 2020, a meeting was held between representatives of the Ferghana Territorial Administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan with an adviser to the mayor of Cherkasy (Ukraine).

Negotiations were held on the development of cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two cities, the exchange of experience in the processing and agricultural industries, working recruiting and other business sectors.

They also touched on the development of tourism ties between countries with the further development of tourist destinations for the exchange of cultural values of countries.

In general, the working visit of the mayor’s adviser was fruitful. A number of educational institutions of the Ferghana region were visited, namely: the Ferghana branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Ferghana State University and the Ferghana Polytechnic Institute. As well as the SEZ “Kokand” and a number of enterprises in the field of textiles and the production of medical equipment (LLC “Turon Texitile”, LLC “Listem Fergana”).
