Administrative measures have been taken against a restaurant in Navoi for violating public catering regulations.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the city of Navoi, actions have been taken against a public catering establishment for failing to provide a menu in the state language.

A resident of the city, identified as E.N., filed a complaint with the territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee of Navoi Region, citing consumer rights violations at a restaurant owned by LLC "NAVOIY-SAXOVAT MANZILI."

During an inspection, specialists from the office found that the establishment lacked signage indicating the name of the enterprise, the taxpayer identification number (TIN), and a special QR code for scanning data. Additionally, information on operating hours, price tags, and the menu were not provided in the state language.

As a result of the inspection, the Special Commission of the Territorial Office initiated a case against LLC "NAVOIY-SAXOVAT MANZILI" for apparent violations of the Law "On Consumer Protection" and the requirements of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 75, which regulates the provision of services in the public catering sector. The company was issued a mandatory order to correct the violations and ensure they do not occur in the future.

Furthermore, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the responsible person at the enterprise, which has been sent to the court for review.
