Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Program of Measures for the Comprehensive Social and Economic Development of Babatag Territory of Uzun District of Surkhandarya Region in 2021-2023 was approved by the Presidential resolution.
According to the Program, in these years, the implementation of 75 projects in the field of industry, services and agriculture and the creation of 419 jobs are envisaged in Babatag territory.
In accordance with the decree, until January 1, 2024, 50 percent of the payment will be released:
- land tax, property tax, profit tax, tax for the use of water resources, turnover tax of small enterprises, as well as a fixed amount of tax on income of individual entrepreneurs - new business entities, including cluster organizations, are being created;
- land tax and property tax - individuals.
In order to financially support business projects of business entities in the territory of Babatag on loans in national currency, the amount of which does not exceed 10 billion soums, and the interest rate is 1.5 times the size of the main rate of the Central Bank, compensation is provided in the part of the interest rate exceeding the basic one rate, but not more than 5 percentage points.
Also, for entrepreneurs with great potential, re-introduced agricultural land will be assigned and the activities of clusters will be established in such areas as vegetable and melon growing, horticulture and viticulture, and animal husbandry.
Around-the-clock duty groups of nurses will be created on the territory.
In 2021–2022, pistachio plantations will be built on an area of 1,400 hectares in the mountainous and foothill areas of Babatag State Forestry.
In order to increase the level of youth coverage with higher education on the territory of Babatag of Uzun district from the 2021/2022 academic year over the next three years, within the framework of the increase in the quotas of the state grant, additional special quotas will be allocated to higher educational institutions of the pedagogical and medical profile of Surkhandarya region.
At the same time, young people admitted to study under a special quota will carry out labor activities on their territory for at least 5 years after receiving higher education.
By the end of 2021, the construction of service housing (multi-storey thirty-apartment residential buildings) will be provided on the basis of standard projects for military personnel of the border troops of the State Security Service.
