Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction has published the official holiday schedule for International Women’s Day (8 March) and Navruz (21 March) in Uzbekistan.

Days Off for 8 March:

• 8 March (Saturday) – Public holiday for all.
• 9 March (Sunday) – Regular day off.
• 10 March (Monday) – Additional day off for employees with a five-day workweek; regular working day for those on a six-day schedule.

Days Off for Navruz:

• 21 March (Friday) – Public holiday.
• 22 March (Saturday) – Day off for five-day workweek employees; regular working day for those on a six-day schedule.
• 23 March (Sunday) – Regular day off.

According to Article 208 of Uzbekistan’s Labor Code, if a public holiday falls on a weekend, it is moved to the next working day.
