ADB representatives familiarize with “one window” method

The guests got acquainted with the activity of the agency on regulation of transportation and procedures on entrance of transport to the country and exchange of documents with foreign partners.

Uzbek officials underlined importance of simplification of customs inspection with use of international experience, including introduction of “one window” scheme. The Uzbek side said it is necessary to decrease customs clearance procedures in export of perishable products.

The agency representatives said they are working on introduction of “one window” scheme. The sides expressed hope for mutual beneficial cooperation at the end of the meeting.
