Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As a result of operational actions by law enforcement agencies, the activities of members of the religious extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, banned in Uzbekistan, living in Sergeli and Almazar districts, were suppressed.
A.F., born in 1978, M.A., born in 1980 and A.G. (female), born in 1983, acted as part of this criminal group.
Active members of the group A.F. and M.A. engaged in the sale of paints at the Car Market, the Jomii and Bektupi markets located in the city of Tashkent, distributed Hizb ut-Tahrir materials to their business partners and close relatives through several organized groups on the Telegram social network and invited them to join the ranks of the organization .
The criminal activities of these individuals were controlled by those considered active recruiters of Hizb ut-Tahrir, as well as those who are on the international wanted list, Mahmud Abdulmomin (Kholdarov Mahmudjon Abdumalikovich, born in 1980 in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan) and Islam Abu Khalil (Nurmatov Ismail Ibragimovich, born in 1984, Namangan region).
Currently, these persons are under investigation within the framework of a criminal case.
