Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for paying compensation for compulsory utility bills to citizens actively participating in the activities of citizens’ self-government bodies.
According to the Regulation, from 1 March 2021, citizens who actively participate in the activities of citizens’ self-government bodies will be paid monthly compensation for compulsory utility bills in the amount of 50 percent of BRV (122 thousand 500 soums).
At the same time, the effectiveness of the activities of kuchaboshi (responsible for the street) and uyboshi (responsible for the house) will be assessed according to a number of basic criteria.
Also, when assessing the activities of these persons, their activities on the street or house assigned to them for 3 months are taken into account, and based on the criteria, they will be paid if they receive a score above 70 points.
Payment of compensation is suspended ahead of schedule if the kuchaboshi and uyboshi do not actively participate in the activities of citizens’ self-government bodies.
These compensation payments are carried out by the district (city) departments of the Ministry for the Support of Mahalla and Family at the expense of additional sources of local budgets.
