The acting khokim of the capital city was approved during the 35th session of the Kengash of People’s Deputies of Tashkent. Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov took part in the session.
According to the press service of the Tashkent khokimiyat, Jahongir Artykhodjayev was approved as the acting khokim of Tashkent city.
At the post of khokim, Jahongir Artykhodjayev replaced Rakhmonbek Usmanov.
Prior to his current appointment Artykhodjayev worked as a director of Artel Engineering and head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tashkent City”. He is founder of the group of companies Akfa.
Earlier, Usmanov was appointed to the post of first deputy head of the Uzbek Agency for Road Transport (Uzavtotrans).
