Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed a new acting governor for Jizzakh region. This was reported by the press secretary of the president, Sherzod Asadov.
According to the presidential decree, Ergash Saliev has been relieved of his duties as governor of Jizzakh region due to his transition to another position.
The acting governor has been appointed as Ulugbek Mustafaev, who previously held the position of chairman of the board at the company "Regional Electric Networks."
