Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Tursunali Kuziev has been appointed acting director of the Cultural Heritage Agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports from 5 November 2021.

Tursunali Kuziev graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Art, worked as the chairman of the Culture Fund of Surkhandarya region, then continued his activities as the director of the Republican Art School named after P. Benkov.

Since 2017, he worked as deputy head of the Scientific and Educational Memorial Complex named after the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for scientific and creative work.

Tursunali Kuziev was awarded the Dustlik order, the honorary title Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Order of Friendship of the Vietnamese Socialist Republic. He was awarded a number of orders and medals from Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Iran, Egypt.
