ACDIMA Plans Local Production and Specialist Training at “Tashkent Pharma Park”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 January 2026, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Tamer Fathi Abdussalam Hammad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Uzbekistan, as well as with a delegation led by the head of Arab Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances Company (ACDIMA).
For reference, ACDIMA, founded in 1976, is one of Egypt’s leading investment corporations in the healthcare sector, specializing in the production of essential pharmaceutical products. The group produces over 600 million units annually, with its products represented in more than 70 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
The meeting was also attended by Mansurbek Kilichev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Egypt.
During the discussions, the parties addressed ACDIMA-led training programs to enhance the skills of specialists in Uzbekistan, the expansion of localization processes, organization of pharmaceutical distribution, and the implementation of a promising joint project within the “Tashkent Pharma Park” pharmaceutical cluster.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants agreed to further develop bilateral cooperation and schedule a follow-up meeting to discuss practical steps for implementing joint initiatives.
