About 476,000 students graduate general schools in Uzbekistan

About 476,000 students graduated schools in all regions of Uzbekistan as last lessons of the academic year took place at schools on 25 May.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Public Education, over 476,000 students graduated the ninth classes of general schools of Uzbekistan this academic year.
About 9% of graduates will continue their education at academic lyceums and 91% - in professional colleges.
It is worth to mention that there are 9,692 general schools in Uzbekistan, 283 – music and art schools, 225 children-youth sport schools and 4,916 kindergartens.
