About 42,400 legal entities registered in 2022

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the press service of the Tax Service, as of 1 January 2023, the number of legal entities operating reached 566,100, which is 8.1% (42,400) higher than at the beginning of the year.

By industry -

TOP-3 with the highest growth rates:

services in the field of information and communication - 17.5% (1.3 thousand)

trade - 14% (17.8 thousand)

transportation and storage - 13.7% (1.9 thousand).

TOP-3 with the lowest growth rates:

construction - 6.1% (1.9 thousand);

industry - 5.4% (3.7 thousand);

agriculture, forestry, fisheries - 5.3% (6.7 thousand).

Currently, legal entities carry out activities:

25.6% in trade (145.6 thousand);

23.7% in agriculture, forestry and fisheries (134.7 thousand).
