About 23,891 new enterprises created in Uzbekistan in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency, the total number of newly created enterprises in January-March 2023 amounted to 23,891 units. (excluding farms and dekhkan farms), and by types of economic activity, they were formed as follows:

in trade - 8,640 units.

in industry - 3,987 units.

in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 3,088 units.

in the field of accommodation and food services - 1,454 units.

in construction - 1,291 units.

in transportation and storage - 1,135 units.

in the information and communication industry - 801 units.

in the healthcare and social services sector - 356 units.

in other types - 3,139 units.
