About 18.000 enterprises in trade sector were created in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency, the total number of newly created enterprises in January-June 2023 amounted to 47,681 units. (excluding farms and dekhkan farms), and by types of economic activity, they were formed as follows:

in trade - 17,669 units.

in industry - 7,906 units.

in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 5,535 units.

in the field of accommodation and food services - 3,007 units.

in construction - 2,526 units.

in transportation and storage - 2,235 units.

in the information and communication industry - 1,546 units.

in the healthcare and social services sector - 740 units.

in other types – 6,517 units.
