It is worth to mention that Abengoa launched the largest solar power station in Europe, which was built in Seville (Spain).
The station transfers solar ray to energy along with the heat, generated by heating surface of solar panels.
As reported earlier, Uzbekistan plans to construct the photovoltaic power plant in Samarkand region.
The project envisages construction of generating capacities for 100 megawatt with production of 200 million KWH of electricity a year. The project is expected to run for about five years with an estimated completion date of March 2019.
The project cost is US$310 million. It will be financed due to loan of the Asian Development Bank for US$110 million, as well as resources of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and Uzbekenergo.
