Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Abdulla Aripov will become the first high-ranking foreign state official to visit Tajikistan after the global pandemic was announced. This was reported by the Tajik news agency ASIA-Plus.

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan will come to the opening of a comprehensive school, which was built and equipped at the expense of the government of Uzbekistan, a source in the administration of the head of the Sughd region told Asia-Plus.

A school for 640 pupils was built in Spitamen district of Sughd region. The agreement on its construction was signed during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan in March 2018.

The date of the ceremony will be confirmed through diplomatic channels.

In addition to the construction of a school in Spitamen district of Sughd region, the Uzbek side is also building a hospital with 200 beds in Kubodiyon district of Khatlon region.

Tajikistan has already announced the construction of a school in the city of Samarkand for 640 student places. Also, the Tajik side intends to build one preschool institution in Rishtan district of Ferghana region.
