Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held a meeting with Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Akram Madumarov.
Madumarov is in Tashkent on a working visit.
The head of the Government of Uzbekistan noted the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two states in a number of areas.
According to him, thanks to the political will of the leaders of the two states, colossal changes have taken place in the last years of bilateral relations.
“An active dialogue is maintained at all levels. There is a significant increase in bilateral trade, investment cooperation is expanding, cultural ties are strengthening, ”Abdulla Aripov said.
Vice Prime Minister Akram Madumarov noted that the Kyrgyz Republic attaches great importance to the further development of bilateral cooperation, deepening bilateral relations in various spheres of interaction.
“Our peoples are linked by long-term friendship and good neighborliness. Our task is to continue to strengthen friendly relations, mutually beneficial cooperation, to use the existing potential for economic development, to resolve border issues for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of the two countries,” said Akram Madumarov.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation. The parties emphasized the importance of the fruitful work of the Government delegations of the two countries on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border.
Issues of trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and border cooperation between the countries were discussed.
