Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Prime Minister of the Federal State of Bavaria Markus Söder today held a meeting in the format of a video conference. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

The Prime Minister of Bavaria Markus Söder noted that he supports the economic reforms and transformations being carried out in Uzbekistan headed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, highly appreciates them.

The parties discussed issues of consistent implementation of agreements following the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Germany, in particular Bavaria, and further development of bilateral cooperation.

The prime ministers considered issues of strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation, further widespread introduction of advanced German technologies in various spheres of the economy of Uzbekistan, opening high-tech enterprises in Uzbekistan together with German companies, expanding cooperation in the social and humanitarian sphere.

The parties also discussed the issue of holding the next meeting of the Uzbek-German Council of Entrepreneurs in Munich.

They expressed gratitude to the German government for the assistance provided in the fight against the pandemic.

The Uzbek side has invited the Prime Minister of Bavaria Markus Söder to pay a visit to Uzbekistan at a convenient time for him.
