Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 26 May 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit at the head of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was received by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The Minister conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the course of the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level visits.

Topical aspects of the bilateral agenda and regional interaction were considered. The need for fuller use of the existing potential in the field of trade, investment, industrial cooperation, primarily in transport, energy, mechanical engineering, light and food industries, agriculture and water management, was emphasized.

During the talks, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
