Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- 17 March 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Spain.

On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Jose Manuel Albarez.

It was noted that Uzbekistan considers Spain as a country with significant industrial, scientific, technical, cultural and intellectual potential, as well as a reliable and friendly partner in the European Union.

"Our states have great potential for constantly building up multifaceted cooperation," the Uzbek Foreign Minister said in a letter.

Confidence was expressed that Uzbek-Spanish relations, built on the principles of historical friendship and mutual understanding, will continue to develop for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
