Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 October 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with his residence in Moscow, Gilles Beschoor Plug.

Accepting his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible post and expressed hope that his professional experience would further strengthen the Uzbek-Dutch relations in areas of mutual interest.

The parties noted the interest in enhancing the political dialogue, including within the framework of the "Uzbekistan - European Union" format, the development of inter-parliamentary ties, the expansion of trade and economic contacts and cultural and humanitarian interaction.
