Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 December 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Jumakhon Giyosov, who is completing his mission as director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (RATS SCO).
It was noted that Uzbekistan attaches great importance to the activities of the RATS, which is the main body of the SCO to ensure interaction of the member states of the Organization in the fight against terrorism, extremism and separatism.
The Minister highly appreciated the personal contribution of Jumakhon Giyosov to the further development of the Organization and the provision of positive dynamics of interaction between the competent authorities of the SCO member states.
For his part, Jumakhon Giyosov expressed his sincere gratitude to the Uzbek side for the favorable conditions created for the successful fulfillment of his mission and assistance to the activities of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS.
From 1 January 2022, the post of Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS will be taken by the representative of Uzbekistan Ruslan Mirzaev.
