Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 June 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sayed Ali Assad Gilani.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects for the further development of multifaceted Uzbek-Pakistani relations were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the schedule of upcoming official meetings and the participation of the Pakistani side in the International High-Level Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”, held on 15-16 July 2021 in Tashkent.
