Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Russian Senators

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received a group of members of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia led by Deputy Chairperson of the upper house of the Russian parliament Ilyas Umahanov.

The delegation included Senators Vladimir Jabarov, Mikhail Kozlov, Sergei Lisovsky and Dmitry Mezentsev, who arrived in Uzbekistan to observe presidential elections.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the Russian delegation shared their plans on visiting of the regions to observe process of voting at the presidential elections.

During the talks, the sides also considered issues of further strengthening inter-parliamentary relations in context of actual Uzbek-Russian agenda.
