Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Ambassador of Ireland

Uzbek Minister received the Ambassador’s credentials and congratulated him on his appointment to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on prospects of further deepening of Uzbek-Irish relations in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other fields. They also considered on some international and regional issues.

The sides noted that implementation of the Strategy of Action, approved by the President of Uzbekistan in five priority areas of the country’s development in 2017-2021, opens new opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation, intensifying contacts between parliamentarians, business circles, educational institutions, scientists, cultural workers, and the arts of the two countries.

In this context, the sides exchanged views on jointly solving priority tasks.
