Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 September 2020, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov in Moscow met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov.

The Foreign Ministers discussed specific issues of further strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as interaction within international and regional organizations.

During the conversation, the parties welcomed the results of the meeting held on August 26-27 in Tashkent, the Government delegations of the two countries on the delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border.

The ministers exchanged views on preparations for the third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan.

The parties considered proposals on the timing of upcoming joint events at various levels and formats, as well as other topical issues of Uzbek-Kyrgyz cooperation.
