Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 March 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who is in Antalya on a working visit, met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

During the negotiations, the results of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union over the past year were summed up, topical issues of the common agenda for the current year were considered.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule and practical aspects of the upcoming joint events at various levels.

Special attention was paid to the progress made in the negotiations on the draft Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the EU.

Mutual interest was expressed in expanding the interregional dialogue in the "Central Asia - European Union" format.
