Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 14 December 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko, as well as Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Kazakhstan Alexey Borodavkin, in Kyrgyzstan - Nikolai Udovichenko, in Tajikistan - Igor Lyakin-Frolov, in Uzbekistan - Oleg Malginov.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views and assessments on regional cooperation, and also discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation with Russia and the countries of Central Asia.
Special attention was paid to security issues, including the situation in Afghanistan.
The active interaction of the parties within the framework of the UN, CIS, SCO and other international organizations was noted with satisfaction.
