Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Foreign Minister in the Taliban government Amir Khan Muttaqi. This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Abdulqahar Balkhi on his Twitter.

During the meeting in Kabul, the parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan.

Abdulaziz Kamilov expressed hope that Kabul will take its rightful place in the world community. The Uzbek Foreign Minister assured that Tashkent will continue to adhere to its obligations on transit, energy and trade.
