Abdulaziz Kamilov holds talks with EEAS Secretary General

At the meeting, the sides discussed current state and priority directions of further deepening cooperation in various areas between Uzbekistan and the European Union, as well as some issues of international and regional politics.

The sides exchanged opinion on realization of agreements, reached at the prevision meetings of Cooperation Committee, sub-committees on economic, trade and investment, justice, internal affairs, human rights and other joint institutes of Uzbekistan-EU, as well as implementation of the EU Strategy for Central Asia.

The sides also considered other issues of mutual interest, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said in a statement.
