Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 November 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a telephone conversation with the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects of interaction between Uzbekistan and USAID, issues of implementation of priority programs and projects were discussed.

They expressed their readiness to continue joint work in such areas as health care, education, agriculture, improvement of the judicial and legal system and others.

An exchange of views took place on the situation in Afghanistan, on the provision of humanitarian assistance to this country in order to prevent a humanitarian crisis, and to coordinate the efforts of the international community in this direction.
