Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 March 2022, in Antalya (Republic of Turkey), as part of participation in the II Diplomatic Forum, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev.

The parties discussed topical issues of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of good neighborliness and strategic partnership. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the joint decisions and agreements reached during the high-level meetings.

The importance of taking effective measures to further intensify cooperation in the political, border, water management, trade, economic, transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres in order to fulfill the obligations assumed and promote joint priority projects was noted.

A schedule of upcoming contacts at the highest, high and interregional levels was considered.
