Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 March 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies discussed topical issues of Uzbek-Kazakh allied relations in the political, trade and economic, transport and transit, water and energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The importance of the timely and comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached as a result of the high-level meetings was noted.
The schedule of upcoming events, including those held within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states (on 23 November 1992), was considered.
An exchange of views on the international agenda took place.
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi arrived in Tashkent to participate in the High-Level International Conference "Regional Cooperation between the States of Central Asia in the Framework of the Joint Action Plan for the Implementation of the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy".
