Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 December 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the ministerial meeting in the format "Italy - Central Asia".

During the conversation, topical issues of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations in the political-diplomatic, border, trade-economic, energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed.

The progress in the implementation of the previously reached agreements and the schedule of upcoming events at various levels were considered.

An exchange of views took place on the international and regional situation, including the current situation in Afghanistan.
