Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 August 2021, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and the Federal Adviser (Minister) of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis.

The heads of the foreign affairs agencies discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation. 

Special attention was paid to the organizational and technical aspects of the evacuation of Swiss citizens from Afghanistan through the territory of Uzbekistan.
