Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to deputies Doniyor Ganiev and Rasul Kusherbayev, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis approved the candidacy of Abdukhakim Khadjibayev for the post of head of the Ministry of Health.

Now the President of Uzbekistan must sign a decree on the appointment of the head of the Ministry of Health.

Alisher Shadmanov is now the Minister of Health. Abdukhakim Khadjibaev has been holding the post of First Deputy Minister of Health since July 2020.
