Abdujabar Abduvakhitov becomes State Advisor of President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Abdujabar Abduvakhitov has been appointed to the post of state adviser of the President of Uzbekistan on development of science, education, health and sports.

Prior to this appointment, he worked as Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan.

At this post, he replaced Rustam Kasymov, who became state advisor of the President for religious affairs. At the same time, Rustam Kasymov retained the post of rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan.
