Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A working group headed by the Chairman of the Senate is paying a visit to Khorezm region.
The meeting analyzed the existing shortcomings in the work on the "women’s notebook". As noted, it is important not only to conduct medical examinations of local women, but also strictly monitor their health, identify diseases and resolve issues of their treatment, as well as conduct medical examinations of their family members and children.
It is necessary to seriously deal with each family included in the "notebooks", provide them with psychological assistance, talk with each of them.
- You can’t just think about how to get them out of the "notebooks" by providing one-time help to families included in the "notebooks". It is necessary to regularly monitor each family, to provide them with the necessary support in all directions, - Tanzila Narbayeva said.
Then the members of the working group visited Yangiarik district and got acquainted with the activities of the greenhouse, owned by Global Food Impex LLC, with an area of 80 hectares. A meeting was held with women working at this enterprise and the conditions created for them were studied. It is worth noting that cucumbers are currently being grown on the territory of the 10 hectare greenhouse, which was launched in 2019. Construction and repair work is nearing completion on an area of 104 hectares. Melons in the amount of US$53 million, which will be grown here in 2021-2022, will be exported mainly to Russia and Kazakhstan. It is noted that soon the number of employees here will increase from 260 to 1460 people.
The President of the Senate also visited the Kattabog Kulolchilik center in Yangiarik district. Today, in all corners of our republic, you can see modern and historical monuments decorated with rich green ceramics. In many of these monuments, products from the ceramics of local potters were used. The head of the upper house of parliament got acquainted with the activities of the center, the conditions created for artisans, and talked with Bakhodir Otajonov, a representative of the eighth generation of the dynasty of local potters.
Further, the working group visited the Khiva Gilamlari enterprise, which employs about 450 residents of the city of Khiva. More than half of the workers here are women, as well as persons included in the “women’s notebook”. The enterprise monthly supplies carpets and carpet products worth 3.5 billion soums not only to the domestic market, but also for export.
On the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, boarding schools named after E. Vokhidov in Fergana, named after M. Yusuf in Andijan, named after A. Oripov in Kashkadarya, named after H. Olimjon and Zulfiya in Jizzak and named after I. Yusupov in Karakalpakstan, created wide opportunities for young lovers of literature. In Khiva, on the eve of the 210th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, historian, translator, statesman Muhammad Rizo Erniyozbek ugli Agakhi, who made a great contribution to the development of Uzbek classical literature, national culture, spirituality and enlightenment, the building of the school of creativity named after Agakhi. The members of the working group also visited this school.
In this educational institution, specializing in in-depth study of the Uzbek language and literature, as well as foreign languages, a building for 220 places, a dormitory for 100 places and a dining room, a library, a printing house, a gym and summer sports grounds have been built. In a creative school, young talents study the subtleties of literature and science.
At the meeting with the talented girls of the Agakhi school of creativity, the students spoke about the successes achieved in various competitions at the regional and republican level.
Also during the trip, it is planned to visit the house of a woman craftsman living in the Koshkupyr region, familiarize with the activities of the family enterprise and the work being done to implement the Obod Mahalla program, meet with members of the Women’s Advisory Council and women activists.
