Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Several residents of Mingbulak district filed a statement addressed to the head of the district police department, where they indicated that in February-March this year, a 25-year-old native of Naryn district opened an air ticket office in the town of Jomashuy.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, posing as an employee of an air ticket office, the girl took 2 million soums from each of 82 citizens for an air ticket, and a certificate on COVID-19 cost 3.5 million. The woman earned a certain amount of money on fake tickets, which she spent for personal needs.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under part 3 of article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code.
