A vehicle carrying Uzbek citizens caught fire in Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A vehicle carrying Uzbek citizens caught fire in Atyrau region of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan said in a statement.

According to the diplomatic mission, the incident occurred on 8 June. The fire started in the vehicle at 11:45 AM on the "Russia-Uzbekistan" highway. The blaze was extinguished by 12:50 PM.

As a result of the incident, two Uzbek citizens sustained burns of varying degrees and were hospitalized.
