The Speaker of the Turkish Parliament was also informed about the new composition of the inter-parliamentary group of the Oliy Majlis for cooperation with the Turkish parliament, about the main directions of the Uzbek parliament.

Mustafa Şentop emphasized that in these difficult days, Uzbekistan, like the entire international community, accepts the most serious challenge to humanity in modern history - the coronavirus pandemic, and thanks to the correct policy and effective anti-epidemic measures taken by the leadership of the republic in a timely manner, it can be argued that the country manages to minimize the consequences of the pandemic.

At the same time, he mentioned that the Turkish side is ready to continue to provide all-round support to the friendly people of Uzbekistan in the fight against the pandemic. In addition, during the conversation, the head of the Turkish parliament noted the positive achievements of Uzbekistan in raising the status of the parliament, strengthening its role in society.
