Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Information is spread on the Internet that a suspicious package was found in Shaykhantakhur district of Tashlent, the contents of which posed a danger to people.

Tashkent police reported that on 17 March 2021, at 14:40, the Tashkent City Department of Interior Affairs received a message that a black sports bag was left by an unknown person near the entrance to one of the shops on the territory of the Malika shopping complex, located along the Small Ring Road in Shaykhontokhur district.

Employees of the interior affairs bodies, including a special unit of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to ensure public safety, cordoned off the area and inspected the bag. The police informed that nothing illegal was found in it, including objects and substances that pose a threat to the life and health of people.

In the course of the operations carried out, it was established that the bag was forgotten in the above-mentioned place by 18-year-old J.K., who works as a hired worker at a construction site in Yunusabad district.

During the conversation, he said that he had come to the territory of the shopping complex in order to fix his phone. The bag containing household items was left by him near the entrance to the store due to its weight, for a while. The young man did not expect that this could scare anyone and cause a resonance.
