Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 2 February, a specialized school with in-depth study of computer science and information technology was opened on the basis of school No. 42 in the city of Karshi.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications B. Olmatov, Deputy Khokim of the Kashkadarya Region R. Yuldoshev, senior officials of the Regional Department of Public Education of the Kashkadarya Region, as well as local youth.

The school has organized modern computer science and robotics classrooms, a digital library. The classrooms are equipped with modern computer technology and interactive touchboards.

The conditions created will undoubtedly become an important factor in increasing the knowledge and skills of young people in the field of programming and information and communication technologies.

The ceremony also hosted an award ceremony for teachers included in the Top 100 within the megaproject “One Million Programmers”.
