Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Head of the UNICEF Representative Office in Uzbekistan Munir Mammadzade and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zamin Foundation Ziroat Mirziyoyeva took part in the solemn closing ceremony of the first Eco-IT camp in Uzbekistan.
Addressing all eco-activists of schools in Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoeva noted:
- The future of our native land is our future, each of us is responsible for it. If today we show care and respect for the nature around us, tomorrow our planet will flourish. And it is you who will make a great contribution to this cause!
The eco-IT camp was organized in a hybrid format as part of the Zamin Foundation's "Eco-schools Uzbekistan" project, and more than 400 eco-activists took part in it.
The main goal of the event was to educate an environmentally responsible generation and actively involve young people in practical actions to improve and preserve the environment.
